Tool calibration – never miss an ISO 9001 deadline
Calibration is non-negotiable for ISO 9001 organisations – but in most workshops it's tracked in spreadsheets, sticky notes or someone's head. The result is missed deadlines, audit findings and unnecessary failure. Delatool's tool calibration management gives every measuring instrument an automatic schedule with notifications, audit-ready records and a complete history per tool.
Calibration intervals for measuring instruments
Different instruments require different calibration intervals based on usage and ISO 9001 / ISO 17025 requirements. Typical intervals:
- Torque wrenches – 12 months or every 5,000 cycles, whichever comes first.
- Calipers & micrometers – 12 months for daily use, 24 months for occasional use.
- Pressure gauges – 12 months in safety-critical applications.
- Multimeters – 12 months or per manufacturer recommendation.
- Force / load cells – 6–12 months depending on usage.
